Last updated: November 2, 2026
Welcome to Rally. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rally, including our website, web application, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using Rally, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Rally.
1. About Rally
Rally is a group planning and coordination platform designed to help people organize plans, events, trips, gatherings, and other activities.
Rally may provide features including group chat, guest lists and RSVPs, itineraries, tasks, budgets, polls, updates, photos, notes, calendar integration, and other planning tools.
Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rally.
By creating an account or using Rally, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally permitted to agree to these Terms.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Rally only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Your Account
Rally uses your mobile phone number to identify and authenticate your account.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining control of the phone number associated with your account.
You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your account. If you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account, please contact us at support@heyrally.io.
4. SMS Verification
Rally uses SMS messaging to send one-time verification codes for account creation and sign-in.
By entering your mobile phone number and requesting a verification code, you consent to receive an SMS message from Rally containing the requested authentication code.
Messages are transactional and are sent in response to authentication activity initiated by you. Rally does not use authentication messages for marketing or promotional purposes.
Message frequency varies based on your authentication activity. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact support@heyrally.io for help.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
For information about how Rally collects, uses, and protects your phone number and other personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
5. Plans and Group Content
Rally is designed for groups. When you join or participate in a plan, information you contribute to that plan may be visible to other members of the same plan.
This may include your name, RSVP status, messages, photos, notes, tasks, poll responses, itinerary information, budget entries, and other content you choose to contribute.
You are responsible for considering what information you choose to share with other Rally users.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload to Rally.
By submitting content to Rally, you give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service.
For example, if you upload a photo to a group plan, Rally needs permission to store and display that photo to the appropriate members of the plan.
This licence exists only as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve Rally and ends when the content is deleted from our systems, subject to reasonable backup, legal, and technical retention requirements.
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the necessary rights to share it.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Rally to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or harm another person
Upload or share content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes another person's rights
Distribute spam, malicious software, or other harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Rally, another user's account, or our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Service
Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except where permitted by law
Use Rally for fraudulent or deceptive activities
We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create a risk to Rally or its users.
8. Budgets and Expenses
Rally may provide tools that allow users to organize budgets, record expenses, calculate amounts, or track shared costs.
These features are provided for planning and informational purposes only.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Rally does not act as a bank, payment processor, financial institution, accountant, or financial adviser. Users are responsible for verifying expenses, balances, amounts owed, and payments between group members.
Rally is not responsible for payments, debts, reimbursements, or financial disputes between users.
9. Third-Party Services
Rally may rely on or integrate with third-party services to provide certain functionality, including services related to hosting, authentication, messaging, notifications, storage, calendars, and other technical infrastructure.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
10. Notifications and Communications
Rally may send service-related communications necessary to operate your account or plans, such as authentication messages, plan updates, invitations, or notifications based on your settings and activity.
Where applicable, you can manage certain notification preferences within Rally or through your device settings.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your Rally account directly within the app.
Account deletion will remove your account and associated personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to information we may need to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate operational purposes.
Some content associated with shared plans may need to be retained or handled differently where necessary to preserve information belonging to other members of a group.
12. Service Availability
We work to keep Rally available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Features may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party services, or circumstances outside our control.
13. Changes to Rally
Rally is an evolving product. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or portions of the Service at any time.
We may also introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other purchases in the future. Any applicable pricing or additional terms will be presented before you purchase those features.
14. Intellectual Property
Rally and its software, branding, designs, logos, interfaces, and other materials provided by us are owned by or licensed to Rally and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not give you ownership of Rally's intellectual property.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit Rally's intellectual property except with our permission or as permitted by law.
15. Disclaimer
Rally is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that Rally will meet every user's requirements or that all information entered by users will be complete, accurate, or reliable.
Rally helps users organize and coordinate plans but is not responsible for the activities, events, trips, purchases, arrangements, communications, or other decisions made by users through the Service.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rally and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from user content, missed plans or events, financial arrangements between users, service interruptions, data loss, or unauthorized access.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. Termination
You may stop using Rally at any time and may delete your account through the app.
We may suspend or terminate access to Rally if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, created a security risk, or engaged in unlawful activity.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Rally and its features evolve.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Rally after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or Rally will be subject to the courts of Ontario, except where applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
